Why it matters

Your brakes are notwhere you cut corners.

Brakes are the one system you cannot afford to ignore. Catching wear early keeps you safe and keeps the repair small.

Safety and stopping distance

Worn pads and tired fluid mean longer stops. Fresh brakes give you the bite you need in Townsville traffic and out on the highway.

Catch wear before it spreads

A quick brake check flags thinning pads or low fluid before a quiet problem becomes a dangerous one.

Avoid the bigger bill

Worn pads chew into your rotors. Replace them in time and a cheap pad swap does not turn into a full rotor job.

What you get

A complete brakeinspection and repair.

From a quick pad swap to a full hydraulic overhaul, on cars, utes and 4WDs.

Common questions

The questionswe hear most.

Still not sure? Give the workshop a call or send a message and we will sort it.

  • Listen and feel for squealing, grinding, a soft pedal or vibration when you stop. Any of those means it is time for a brake check. We measure the pads and fluid and show you what we find.

  • Most pads last 40,000 to 80,000 km, but it depends on how and where you drive. Stop-start city driving and towing wear them faster. We measure them at every service.

  • Squealing is usually the wear indicator telling you the pads are getting low. Grinding means the pads are gone and metal is on metal, which needs attention straight away before it damages the rotors.

  • It depends whether you need pads, rotors or hydraulic work, and on your make and model. We check the brakes, show you what we find and quote up front before any work.

  • Not if they are grinding or the pedal feels soft. That means reduced stopping power and a safety risk. Get the car looked at before you drive it any further.
