Brake repairsMount Louisa.
A grind on the way down the hill or a pedal that drops too low means the brakes want looking at now, not next month. We pin down the fault and put it right, anything from a fresh set of pads to a full hydraulic rebuild, with parts to suit how you drive. You hear the price first. We are barely a couple of minutes down Bayswater Road in Garbutt.
- Quality parts
- Any make or model
- Quote first, work second

Why it matters
Brakes are the lastthing to let slide.
Running off the hill and down Bayswater Road into the morning traffic leans hard on the brakes, and so does a family car ferrying kids around the estates all week. Brakes that are past it will not recover on their own, and a quick check now keeps you safe and the bill small.
Shorter stops when you need them
Worn pads and old fluid push your stopping distance out further than you think. Fresh brakes give you the bite to pull up clean when something darts out on Vickers Road North.
A quiet problem caught early
A quick brake check turns up thinning pads or a soft pedal well before a small job becomes a dangerous one you cannot put off.
Pads today, not rotors next time
Let pads wear down to the backing and they chew into the rotors. Catch them on time and a cheap pad swap never grows into a full rotor bill.
What you get
A proper brakecheck and repair.
From a quick front-pad change to a full hydraulic overhaul, on the family wagon, the daily ute or the weekend 4WD alike.

Common questions
The questionswe hear most.
Still not sure? Give the workshop a call or send a message and we will sort it.
Just down the hill in Garbutt, two minutes along Bayswater Road. Drop the car with us and we will pull the wheels, measure the pads and rotors, and ring you with a quote before anything is touched.
Let the noise and the pedal do the talking. A squeal, a grind, a pedal that sinks or a wobble through the car as you slow all earn a look. We measure pad thickness and test the fluid, then show you the readings rather than just telling you about them.
Most sets run 40,000 to 80,000 km, but that number moves with your driving. A constant drop-and-shop pattern around the estates, or carrying heavy loads, eats them quicker. We gauge them at every service so you get plenty of warning.
The squeal is usually a built-in wear indicator scraping to tell you the pads are low. A grind is past that point, metal on metal, and it needs booking in immediately before the rotors cop the damage too.
Depends whether it is a straight pad change, rotors that need machining or proper hydraulic work, and on the vehicle. We have a look, walk you through what we find, and lock in a price before we start.
If they are grinding or the pedal has gone soft, no, that is a real drop in stopping power and not worth the gamble. Keep the driving to a minimum and get it in quickly.
