Why it matters

A worn clutch onlygets worse.

A slipping clutch will not fix itself. Catching it early keeps the repair contained and keeps you off the side of the road.

Catch it before it strands you

A slipping or shuddering clutch is a warning. Sorting it early means a planned repair, not a tow on a Sunday.

Protect the flywheel and gearbox

Left too long, a worn clutch scores the flywheel and stresses the gearbox, turning a clutch job into a much bigger one.

Smooth, reliable driving

A fresh clutch means clean take-off, easy gear changes and a car that is a pleasure to drive again.

What you get

A full clutchrepair and rebuild.

We replace the lot and machine the flywheel where it needs it, on cars, utes, 4WDs and diesels.

Common questions

The questionswe hear most.

Still not sure? Give the workshop a call or send a message and we will sort it.

  • Common signs are slipping (the revs rise but the car does not pull), a hard or spongy pedal, shuddering on take-off, trouble changing gears or a burning smell. Any of those is worth an inspection.

  • Most clutches last 100,000 to 150,000 km, but towing, heavy loads and stop-start city driving wear them faster. Your driving style makes a big difference.

  • It depends on your make and model and whether the flywheel needs machining. We give you an honest quote up front before any work starts.

  • Yes, every day. Hilux, Ranger, LandCruiser, Triton, D-Max and heavier-duty diesel setups included, with quality parts to suit how the vehicle is used.

  • Usually a day, sometimes longer on 4WDs and diesels where there is more to come apart. We give you a clear timeframe when we quote.

  • It can. Leaving a slipping clutch too long scores the flywheel and puts extra load on the gearbox, which costs more to fix later. Sorting it early is cheaper.
